Nacre receives 1st price in the Rosing Creativity Award  At the Norwegian Computer Society – NCS annual banquet November 19th, Nacre received the 1st price in the prestigious Rosing Creativity Award. Nacre’s Project Director, Odd K. Pettersen, represented Nacre at the award and he was presented the 1.price by the Norwegian cabinet member Heidi Grande Røys.According to the jury Nacre was given the award for the QuietPro’s international success and the product’s large potential. QuietPro improves the user’s work conditions, communication abilities and prevents hearing loss. ”We are very honoured by receiving this award from the Norwegian Computer Society”, Pettersen says, “QuietPro is primarily not looked upon as a software product but it certainly is, having more than 15000 lines of computer code inside”. The NCS is the largest special interest society for information technology (IT) in Norway. It is an open, independent forum for Norway’s IT professionals and advanced IT users.
